- If you're using TIA, you don't really have a TCP/IP connection to the
- Internet (as you would with a PPP or SLIP connection). You are remotely
- controlling a piece of software on your ISP's server (TIA) that does, and
- which relays downloaded files to you after it gets them via TCP/IP
- transactions with remote sites over the Internet.

- Unless I'm mistaken about your set-up, I don't believe trying to tune TIA's
- TCP/IP downloads by changing the TCP/IP settings in your winsock can have
- any effect.
